A Legacy of Excellence Since 1938

New Litho Group is a third-generation, Australian-owned printing company that has been delivering premium products and innovative marketing solutions for over 85 years. Our story is one of adaptation, family values, and a relentless commitment to the craft of print.

  • The foundations of our expertise date back to the mid-1910s, when the Daley family owned and operated country newspapers in Kerang. This deep-rooted passion for ink and paper led to the official founding of the company in 1938 as New Life Publications on Exploration Lane, Melbourne, by Eric J.J. Daley.

From the outset, our mission was simple: helping local businesses succeed through the power of print. As the business flourished, we scaled our operations to meet demand:

    • 1959: Relocated to a new factory in Abbotsford.

    • 1970: Moved to Surrey Hills to accommodate growing production needs.

    • 2013: Moved to Mulgrave to bring all operations under one roof.

    • 2015: Expansion into Sydney

    • 2021: Acquisition of Eastern Press

    • 2023: Acquisition of Valiant Press

    • 2025: Acquisition of Doculink

  • The 1970s marked a pivotal era for the company. When the business was purchased by Paul Daley, the focus shifted decisively toward commercial printing. This transition was solidified in July 1977, when we officially rebranded as Newlitho, signaling our evolution into a comprehensive commercial printing partner.

Innovation continued into the 21st century. In the late 2000s, under the leadership of Seth Watts, the business strategically pivoted to specialise in servicing the Real Estate Industry, further diversifying our expertise and market reach. This culminated in the NEO Brand being introduced into the marketplace.

  • Now under the stewardship of a new generation, the New Litho Group has expanded into a robust collective of specialised companies, including:

    • NEO

    • Eastern Press

    • Valiant Press

    • Doculink

As a third-generation family business, we hold a deep regard for customer service and long-term relationships. We aren't just a supplier; we are a reliable partner.

"Each generation has shaped the business to meet the challenges of their time, providing a platform for the next to carve out their own story."

    Clinton Daley, CEO
